REVENGE IS OH SO NOT SWEET

Less than 1 day after the Celtics handed the NBA Finals to the Los Angeles Lakers, the Red Sox gave the city of Boston something to live for, in beating the Dodgers 10-6 at Fenway. Sure it was just a meaningless game to everyone but at least the folk of Boston got some redemption. I know I would feel better if my team lost a championship and then won a meaningless game the next day. Maybe I'm kicking them when their down but isn't that what sports is all about? Manny Ramirez returning back to Fenway for the first since the Red Sox brass shipped him off but made him look like a greedy superstar. Classy Sox fans booing Manny at his first at bat after he brought them their first title in 86 years. You got 'em back alright. Forget that $45 million dollar contract he signed. This 10-6 gem sure makes you forget about that NBA Championship thingy. Oh well, at least you still have the Patriots.
